What kind of Channa is this??

I found a random snakehead that somebody abandoned at a pet shop (no idea why, its young and you can't get hem anymore in Quebec).

So i picked it up, the guy said it was a spotted snakehead but im not convinced. What do you guys think?

I'm not 100% sure but from those photos that looks more like a pike than a snakehead too me anyway.
I'm sure some others will be able to identity it though
