Hello, new to the group. I haven't had cichlids in several years and none large as this one. Can you tell me what kind he is? He was left with me by a friend. Thank you, just want to learn more so I can take care of him better! Sorry for bad pic.

Definitely. One of the meanest fish I've had was a midevil. I traded it to a a friend, and it ended up killing the other fish in his tank.
