What kind of cichlid is this ?

I just got this fish from a friend who owns a pet store it's in a 125 gallon tank was told it was a flower horn but when I seen it looks like a parrot for the most part but a ugly one. It does have blood shot red eyes like a flower horn and has a nice black line on it back as you can see in the picture very agressive when I was taking it home popes the carrier bag

Please help really want to know what I have this is a very wide fish and about 7-8 inch long

Actually, you may want to think about those fish with this fish....but not for them. This fish usually has a very temperate disposition...shy even.and not aggressive....at least I have never seen a mean one...but there are exceptions of course. Just be mindful...this is a beautiful example of the breed...large...a fish to keep.

Thank you do you know what it like to eat I feed my fish this morning but this one didn't come up it just Ate off the ground and this is the biggest fish I have I was shocked

Flakes, pellets, zucchini, peas (no skin)
pretty much anything....

great looking fish mate, bump the other fish off, get him a female and setup a biotope bredding setup with some nice wood and sand!-)
