he's only about 1.5" what should I feed him he's only taking bloodworms what else should I try?

Hes a indo or IT. You can try to feed him very small cut up pieces of shrimp or krill.

I just got him so he's in my cichlid tank:
1 tiger oscar 8"
1 green terror 5"
2 pbass 2.5"
1 convict 3"
1 red head sevrum 3"
2 baby firemouth 1"
1 pleco (butterfly pleco per the lfs)
1 unkown cichlid 4.5"

Looks like an Indo. I feed mine the same, but I've been trying to get them to except pellets.

I would definetly try to move him if you can because those cichlids grow much faster than he can. IT's usally grow quickley to 5 inches then slow down to about 1 inch (give or take) a year. He does have the potiential if given the right food, tank, water quality to get upto 18 inches.

Hes a pretty little guy and i wouldent want to see him eatin by some larger cichlid.

I have the 20 gal that I'm using to med a flowerhorn or I can use a 60 gal that I'm cycling right now, I'm not worried about him getting eaten only becouse my fish have never been fed feeders so they arent used to eating fish my firemouths are smaller than he is but I would like him to have a tank of his own just becouse hes not a cichlid, I just didnt know what size tank I would need. Thanks for all your hepl man I appreciate it, I dont usually buy on instinct but couldnt pass him up he looks awsome.

He would be fine for a few years in a 60 gallon. I hope he grows to be a monster for you!
