What kind of feed you give your discuss

I feed mine a variety that includes, Frozen Beefheart, Frozen Brine Shrimp, Frozen Blood worms, Jack Wattley formula frozen food, Freeze dried tubifex worms, Tertamin and Terta color flakes.

I don't have discus, but I have a discus beefheart recipe that 2 friends get slabs from me for their discus. I use 1 whole beefheart, 1/2 bottle garlic gaurd, 1/2 bottle Ultra-grow VX, 3 carrots, and 1 cup HBH algae flakes. All this goes into a food processor and then is placed in ziploc bags and flattened and frozen. This makes approximately 6 quart bag flats. Even the most finicky discus will eat this, and I feed it to many other fish including arowana as a treat.

Great info, definitly gonna give a try, my discus are eager eaters, but the carrots and ulra grow would be such a plus.
