I'm getting a 480 gallon next sping and i'm thinking that a wet/dry filtration will be best. Ive never had one bwforw so i thiugjt i would ask what sizw pums, sumps, ect. I need. I'm new to this so any advice is helpful. Thanks

I had a 180 gallon sump/wet dry on my 480. Forgot which reeflo pump I used but i was originally aiming for at least 6000 gph. I added a diy kaldnes filter (55 gallon drum) and never had any problems. Worked like a charm. I would also suggest incorporating a drip system as changing 50% of water every week can really be a hassle on a tank that size and could possibly stress the inhabitants due to the fluctuations of the parameters. Just my 2 cents. I'll let the experts chime in.
