Hi there hope I've posted this in the right section. It was sold to me as a tiger Oscar but I don't think it is one. I think it could be a Astronotus crassipinnis can I please get some help.

An Astronotus Crassipinnis is an Oscar. Yes that is what you have. Good looking one at that.

Looks like just a juvie oscar. Can't say what it might be until it starts taking on adult coloration. Doubt it's a crass. since no one has seen them in the last several years.
