what kind of fish is this?

Hello everyone I am new here and was just wondering if anyone could tell me

what kind of fish this is. I was told it was some type of gar, not sure if this is true. Sorry for the quality.

It's a characin. It's called Bicuda. You can tell by the red tail and mouth.

They are more for sport fishing. One of the bigger fish to target like the pbass in amazon.
