What kind of frontosa do i have??

Hi, I purchased a frontosa for my african tank....can you tell me what he is? the sign said blue variety...you can see him when he was in the LFS, then i brought him home....colors are becoming much brighter

Its a Gibb type most likely Mpimbwe or a Zaire.......

I was kind of leaning to burundis too..Do you see any aggresesion between the frontosa and the auratus?

Definitely not Burundi.

You look to have a Zaire.

Nothing messes with the frontosa.... They are in a 120 gallon tank so noone really fights.... Im hoping its a zaire blue...the frontosa is getting more blue by the day!
