iv been convinced, i MUST have a gar now, but what species is the best, i dont want something that gets too big, and whats the different between a short nose and a florida?
what kind of gar should i get?

pic botom, ali gar.... too big when it grown, reaching 3 to 4 ft (or more) in aquarium.

iv got a 55 gal for now, no fish in it at all, and im willing to upgrade when needed, i did come across South American Gar at my LFS, im thinking about geting him =-)
