My LFS has these two catfish for sale labeled as Giraffe cats, they are about 5 inches long I would say. I have never seen such fat faced giraffe cats before, and the smaller ones online look much thinner especially around the head. Is this a closely related species, or just how they look at this specific size?

Some of the pictures online do seem to match thank you! The ones shown above are 150$ at my LFS, but I see wetspot has them for 45$ which seems a lot more reasonable.
There is not much information on this fish out there. Is this a peaceful catfish with those it can't swallow, and is it one of those cats you will never see except at feeding time?
Their species ID is often confused by vendors. They are peaceful with tank mates they cannot swallow. I'd say they tend to be shy but they vary.
