I went to buy some blank t-shirts and i found a ghetto store with a tropical fish sign and i stopped by to look..

They had a VATF, and a bunch of flowerhorns and this goby caught my eye..it looks pretty cool and looks like it might develop some cool colors.. but i dunno.

now i need some info on it.

Can you guys help me ID him?

Sorry can't help you on ID them. They are definitely good looking thou. Great pick up.

As long as it's hard and alkaline, should probably be fine. I see brackish fish thriving in African tanks all the time.

what happened? they're both male knight gobies, BW fish. i had mine for 4yrs before he jumped and started him in FW at about 2" long(when he jumped he was about 4~4.25") and after a few months finally started him into a BW tank, salinity ranged since then from 1.004 to 1.026(last 6mo was at 1.023~1.026) they are an amazing fish, i loved mine.

They are purely brackish fish and anyone that keeps them in freshwater are cutting their lifespan short.
