So while at my local aquarium (Long island Aquarium, aka Atlantis Marine World), I noticed what looked like a killifish in one of their smaller planted tanks, and was wondering what kind it is? Or if it isn't a killifish then what is it? Snapped a few pics, but it was hard to get a still shot...

You know I seen them at 2 Lfs and the first time I seen them they were extremely shy but I walked into the second store and they were fine. They didn't care that I was looking at them and even came to the front of the tank. Idk why they were more or less shy at each store but because of my experience I would say they can be shy but not always.

Well, i think in my tank they are shy just because i've given them more than ample space for them to hide... but as i mentioned, the minute foods in the tank, they all come out and start eating...

i agree with you %100 they are a pretty neat fish though. i could imagine a nice 3-5g tank with a group of these would look awesome
