AFter reading a few posts on these bad boys/girls, though not enough to find out exactly which kind i got. I'm thinking Leporinus Affinis but would like Other MFKers to chime in. I want to be sure.
These pics are about 2-3 years old. I've had mine for about 5 years. I brought him back from haveing his scales from the Anal fin- Caudal fin completely shredded by a istlanum earlier this year. Will be taking some newer pic's later this week if necessary.
I got it at about 1"-2" from a petsmart, he's about 6" TL now. And the object of my female Convicts eye lol

. Been looking around and there seems to be more than a few different types. So far mine's been pretty mellow considering who its got as tankmates. It hasn't killed anything yet gets bullied by my cichlids. I've heard of them being very aggressive but mines been cool ever since i've had him.
