What kind of lighting so arowanas need?

With some Asian species it's work investing in high end lights to emphasize particular color's, for example a red/pink florescent is what makes those super red's so impressive , without the special lights they are far more dull and orange. In some cases lighting could intensify the red's/golds on a fish, essentially UV lamps that allow the aro to tan like it would in natural sun.
Best best is florescent just like any fish tank, I've always had best results with multiple smaller bulbs over one large one because you can mix and match different color spectrum bulbs to complement the fish's natural colors.
