I'm looking to change up the lighting on my 130 gallon tank that has a couple of oscars, and a few cichlids. I've attached a picture of my tank. I'm not sure if the yellow colour is there because of the lighting or because of the driftwood in my tank, but I clean it on a weekly basis and am hoping it's the lighting.
These are a couple links of tanks that I think have pretty cool lighting (I dont know what kinda lighting it is though):

What's the kelvin rating of the bulbs you have now? Could just swap them out to something with a higher kelvin rating like 10-18,000K

Check out LED's. Most folks who go with them will never turn back.

Get LED they look alot better. Im replacing all mine with them they are awesome.

Your colored water is from your wood. It will go away over time. How long has the wood been in the tank? I still recommend the LED though if you just want to change the lighing.

Sounds like LED's may be the way to go. I've heard a number of people talking about T5 lighting, is that LED?
I've had the wood in there for a couple of months now, but also when I take a water sample out with a cup it looks clear and not yellowish.

led's are expensive but last longer, less heat, less energy etc

the first video looks t5, second looks fluorescent but dunno

i have led's in my freshwater, t5's in my salt, led's are awesome
