What kind of lights for dats

What kind of lights are u using on ur tiger tanks?
Mine seem to hate the light, and hide as soon as I turn the lights on. U think they're too bright?

This happens alot with smaller dats. You can try a lower watt bulb or raising the light strip over the tank.

mine hates light, whenever i turn on the light, it just sticks into the back corners all dark ..... when lights are off though.... err... they r still unstable, but at least they r out and swimming around

mine are more out in the open when the lights are out.

Try both, normal bright lightsd for 3 weeks, then try dim lights for 3 weeks.
U may need to experiment for longer. Your dats may stabilise in bright light, but only after several months.
U just need to experiment, and be patient.
I use a very dim light, and my tigers are out all the time, stable and swimming around. 5 ft tank, with 2ft T8 buld 20 wats.
