Hey I'm wanting to know what the smallest and least aggressive type of lungfish would be? Something that could live well with a silver arowana, tiger Oscar, Florida spotted gar, clown knife, and tiger shovelnose cat. Any ideas? Pictures and stories with these fish would also be helpful

The words "small" and "lungfish" definitely do not go together. The smallest species gets to be 2' long and the largest species gets to be 6' long, so "small" is out of the picture.
With that being said, your only options for a lungfish that can have tankmates are the South American lungfish (4' adult max. length) or the Australian lungfish (5' adult max. length). Of the two previously mentioned lungfish, I would say go for the SAL because they are more common in the hobby and are not terribly pricey.

Thanks. I figured SAL was my best option but I don't know much about other types so I figured maybe there was a better on out there. What all can you tell me about the SAL that you know from experience?

I personally have never owned a SAL, but that's going to change within then next week or two. I have also been reading up on SALs and can say with confidence that they are compatible with anything that doesn't bully them or fit in their mouth.

Not sure on exact growth rate as it seems to very. I don't know of local prices for your area, but Snookn21 (John) has some larger (20-30") ones currently for $100 per fish.
