I am not sure that I am making this threads in right place, but I need someone's advice. My acrylic tank has bulkhead hole on bottom, and I would like to close it. I am going to try to attach acrylic plate to cover, close the hole. What kind of glue or silicone sealant is the best to bond acrylic? Please let me know some product name or manifacture. Or is there any other way to close or plug drain hole? Also, I would like to make hole on the back panel instate of the bottom one. I can use hole saw and just drill? Is there any risk of crack? I need someone's help!

Hahaha.
I read your comment after I post my response.
OK, I am not going to Homedepot, Thanks.

there is a glass shop on same street with my work place.
I willl try to stop by there.

Thanks again.

where in cali are you?

Methyl Ethyl Ketone will 'weld' the acrylic together. Of course, it's not easy to get a hold of and dangerous to handle, but if you have the resources it's a great, easy, and efficient way to put your tank back together. Once it dries, it looks seamless.
