What kind of minnows are these?

I got 10 for a dollar as feeders, and I they won't take brine shrimp. What kind are they, and what will they eat? They are also very skittish.

Those are "rosy reds", a colour variation of the fathead minnow, Pimephales promelas.
Once they settle in they should eat brine shrimp, flake, etc...

Definitely Rosy Reds. Drop in an algae wafer, they will chow it down.
