Here he is now, red as a firecracker!!!
What kind of Oscar do I have??

It would be cool if everyone posted their pic...feels more like talking to people in a way! Sometimes I try to picture posters in my head.
Shocked me too. I assumed he was going to be copper with those iridescent highlights.
Brick started off solid copper, then black spots were all over. Then the copper parts turned orange with the spots (think molten lava). Then the black started disappearing and the orange turned more red. By the time he was 10" the red started to take over. It's been spreading ever since, up his jawline and fins. Right now his fin edges are black (he goes back and forth).
To me the tigers seem a bit more consistent as they grow with their pattern. But an all black adult Oscar would be super cool.
