What kind of plant is this?

My wife somehow planted this without knowing what it is. It's now growing some kind of berry(the green in the picture).

Does anyone have an idea what this is?

They are still growing, Wife claims to have seen some get darker but I haven't seen any change yet

It would seem that this is a Pigeonberry. The berries are semi-poisonous

Seen it before. I don't think it is edible.

They grow wild under my pine trees. I think they got there via some bird pooping while sitting in the tree.
