Sometimes Plecos just refuse to eat, the little stubborn idiots. I recently lost a small Pleco to voluntary starvation.

i just rubberbanded some zuchinni to the log ill check in the morning to see if theres bites

What is your water chemistry and temp? Also, have you offered any blood worms? They generally are vegetarians, but love the chance to eat some meaty food. Also, do you have driftwood in the tank for it to chew on? A lot of plecos need to eat a bit of wood to make their digestive systems work properly.

ph is mid 7 around 80F there is driftwood, thats what hes on in the picture i feed my fish freeze dried bloodworm from time to time but it floats and the fish get it before it gets to the bottom, and it looks like he didnt try the the zuchini

what ever you try, try it in the dark be it dry sinking pelets, frozen worms or vegis they don't like the lights also that will give the food time to hit the bottom so it has a chanse to eat before the other fish eat it

any ideas of why its not eating

if you have a turkey baster try putting the blood worms in that and hold it in the water near him and squirt the food right in front of him. its worth a try.
