Canada eh?
Hey all I have 2 rbp's and i was thinking of getting a pleco. the problem is my tank is a 20 g so it wont be good for a full sized pleco when it grows. my question is what kind of pleco could stay relitivly small and have a good enugh armor so my p's dont kill him?

none...and your rbps arent gonna last in a 20 for long either. Sorry to be debby downer, but all your gonna end up with is one chewed up and cramped rbp

get some ghost shrimp or a crayfish instead, they will still help with the clean up of the tank and might stand a better chance of not getting eatten.

rubber lips have a lot of armor on the body but none on the head.. and stay small i believe.

just get a common he will probably not last long with red bellys,

my large plec is with my 2 baby snakeheads right now

as stated, a pleco would not be a good idea for that tank, it is even way too small for the fish that are already in there. i would look at upgrading tanks

you could get a REALLY big tank and put an adult Ripsaw Catfish or an adult Orinoco Sailfin Catfish.

My suggestion would be don't get a pleco. Plecos don't keep your tank clean they make it filthy, and aside from that he may eventually end up a meal. If you really want one get a bigger tank and a common pleco thats bigger than the p's and you have a better chance of them living together in peace for a while, but of course he could still be eaten at any time LOL.
