what kind of pred fish can i put with these??

My wife got 2 of these, i think theyre tetras. What kina cic's or piranhas can i put with them, if any?

phantom tetras... i think. but if you got a huge tank, for these bad boy then it " MIGHT" work. i don't think piranhas will work. IMO.
 
you should really get more of those in one tank, they're a shoaling fish and you'll stress them out more in a pair, i'd suggest at least 5 or 6 in a group, with 10 or 12 being a better number.

not so sure about predatory fish with those, but i think it's safe to say piranhas won't work.
 
Black widow tetras (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi). Black phantoms (Megalampodus megalopterus) do not have bars on their flanks. They're peaceful community fish growing to only 6 cm. Keep them in community setups, not predators.

that's what it is. i knew it began with black.
 
umm i would get a larger school and get some other community fish. most preds would eat them i think.
 
they call them black skirt tetras around here. Although they are Quick i have seen a oscar eat two or three before he got full.
