What kind of Spiny is this?

I have been seeing these guys in lfs' for months, and they have always been sold under vague aliases like "Spiny Eel" or "Green Spiny Eel"
What's the scientific name, and how big do they get?

undeveloped peacock(Macrognathus siamensis) or tire track (Mastacembelus armatus) possibly?

can reach 30"+

Don't think so. Tire Tracks have more of an oval pattern, right?

I always thought they looked like Half Banded (Zebra) Eels from Africa.

tho the site says 20 long will do
