WHAT KIND OF strange FISH ARE THESE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the lighter ones are young male johanni, the darker one i believe is an interruptus as Mike posted earlier. Also this is just an observation, but It looks like your rocks have Iron veins in them... could cause issues with the water, watch to see if your fish begin to flick or scratch... It may be a sign of the Iron rusting in the water and irritating the scales, if so I'd remove them ASAP.

And for the record I see no Kribensis in there anywhere.... but one does look like an Albino Auratus in the background

The fish are definately not johanni except the solid colored yellow fish. It not a albino auratus i dont think either I look at the photos

Melanochromis auratus. They are a type of African cichlid from Lake Malawi in the 'mbuna' or 'rock fish' group. They are aggressive.
