This guy is sooooooooooo bad he cannot be in a tank with anyone..he rubs up against every type fish, has no fear of anything..he is a total clown but i do not have an ID on him and would love to read info on his personality etc.. does anyone else have one of these??

Looks like a synodontis frontosus.

I use to have one, was really friendly. I had it in my old african cichlid tank. If it is indeed a syondontis frontosus, you won't find much info on them.

Looks like a synodontis frontosus.

I use to have one, was really friendly. I had it in my old african cichlid tank. If it is indeed a syondontis frontosus, you won't find much info on them.

A while back my husband wanted to get rid of him because he just couldn't go with any one in any tank..and i told him he is so crazy he is unique and most of all alot of fun! After owning him for over a year my husband agrees.. he is upside down and all around, never eats the guppys he has swimming around him.. always peeping out of his log..so alert ..we just set up a 125 gal for our oscars {4] so we can get them out of the 220 gal where we have the 2 giant pacus.. do you think theres a chance we can put him in with the oscars..i would love to see him in a big tank and doing his thing.. but i do not know if the oscars will tolerate his give me a hug behavior... I quess what i am trying to say is..i would rather see him lonely then see anything happen to him..should we give it a try? He is fearless and the Oscars will either retreat or become aggressive with him.. what do you think..and thank you for your compliment.. I love this guy..
