do banded catsharks have? Can they actually rip and tear their teeth or is it more of a crushing motion (because they feed on crabs, mollusks, exc) anyone actually have pictures?

Catsharks and Bamboo's both have tiny teeth. Im not sure which you are referring to. Probably a Banded Bamboo Shark. When feeding your Bamboo you should feed it pieces that are small enough to eat whole with out the Shark having to chew or rip.

Here is a pick of Australian Swell Sharks (Catshark) teeth. Catshark teeth are so similar between species the pros usually cant even tell them apart.

I might have a couple good close ups somewhere in a long lost file to add as well.
They are very close to what a stingray plate looks like. Like Chris said, designed for crushing inverts and small prey items.

great pictures!! thanks everyone. i thought they were mostly for crushing/eating items whole
