what kind of typical water flow is needed

I have a question for the more experienced monster fish keepers . What kind of current do you have running in your dovi tanks ? Do you notice a aggression drop from this type of fish if you have a stronger current ? Do they like more oxygen or less ? Thank you !

I turn the water over in mine at least 12x per hour. This includes the power heads. Fish is still mean when I'm outside the glass, when I'm cleaning he moves to the opposite side and watches.
