My Brother picked this up on the side of the road and gave it to me. I'm currently drying it out before I water log it. Any ideas on what type of wood this might be? Is is aquarium safe? Thanks

Wow that looks really cool. First you should remove all the bark, then try and boil and clean it. Im not certain but it should be aquarium safe. Good looking piece with built in caves imo its a great piece but needs a huge tank, not sure what you have but that will be awesome

It's way too big to fit into any pot I own, but ill fig outa way to get all the bark off. Right now I've got a 125,90,75 and 40 breeder, but this driftwood might be jut what I need to convince my fiancé that I need a 220 :). I think ill tell her something like see the driftwood is too big for these tanks. Thank you, you just made my argument for me ;)

I've been trying that technique for awhile now lol. "See hunny, if I had a bigger tank...." hasn't worked yet. Good luck

My fiancé has OCD bad. Ill wait for her to suggest that the wood doesn't look right in any of the tanks and then say well if I had a bigger tank it would look perfect. Plus if I pick her up some new dresses and offer to watch the kids so she can go relax she most likely wont care lol.
