What kind of wood of is this

I bought two pieces the local fish store said it is spiderwood. will it hurt my tank it does float. at least for now

Not sure what kind it is, shouldn't hurt your fish as long as it isn't treated and isn't rotting or anything
Actually, kind of looks like manzanita, but again, I'm not sure

Don't think so, never heard of bad things with manzanita

its a root section of a manzanita which is why theres clumps of wood.
