looks like Leiarius marmoratus or Perrunichthys perruno Often confused with Leiarius marmoratus which is much more commonly encountered by aquarists. The fishes are identical in terms of colouration although P. perruno has 8 (1 hard and 7 soft) dorsal fin rays, Leiarius has 10 or 11.
It is the marmoratus variety mentioned before my post. It is not the marbled. I have that exact catfish. I paid about $60 for a 10 inch one about 10 months ago. Their whiskers are incredibly long. I have him in with my pbass and pacus. He is now about 20 inches and is a hefty *ucker.
