I saw a catfish at the lfs which looked a lot like a bumble bee catfish, except it was about 6 inches long. I believe that is twice the size of BB catfish max size, so that rules out the BB. All the seller could tell me is that it was full grown at the current 6 inches and he called it a wood catfish. Tried finding images under a "wood catfish" google search, but couldn't find an id. I didn't have my phone with me, so unfortunately I don't have any pics. Thanks

Could be under the Tatia species. There are numerous wood cats. Gotta get a picture (side profile to see the pattern) so can figure out. Lot of them stay small and have nice coloring to them.

But they are very similar in that yellow and black pattern that u couldn't mistake it for a wood cat. Not sure but a pic will confirm,deny, and clarify. If can't get a pic then search online for the closest thing there is.

Me as well or a jaguar catfish. But the mention of wood cat throws me off.

Could be an asian bumblebee. Mine is almost 5" now and showing no signs of his growth slowing down, hoping to get mine to 7" or even 8" in a few years.
Definitely not a jaguar catfish....I have one of those. But I ended up buying the catfish...he's a little banged up from being in a tank full of african cichlids at the lfs....but here he is....My guess is Asian bumble bee as well...but let's see
