What makes Datinoid grow the biggest the fastest?

Hello everyone

A friend of mine keeps a small 2,5" Datinoides microlepis in a currently 55 gallon Tank. He mostly feeds different frozen aquatic insects and small guppies. Now the problem is he soon becomes a 140 gallon tank and wants to know how to grow a datinoid the biggest the fastest. Any suggestions?

Maybe try a good brand of pellet sold in lfs or online in Switzerland.

My small Dats are super scared and try to hide 24/7 when they have too much space. Just about 3,5¨ small and in a 330x85x65cm tank. Too much space, they feel scared all the time. As soon as I have put them in a floating plastic box with thousands of small holes (for water flow), they felt way more save and their color and behaviour improved a lot, and they started to eat very well. The box is about 65x45x35cm.
