What are good types of market fish to use as feed for my stock? I have catfish, bichir, pbass. I was using tilapia and was told that its no good due to poor nutritional value. Trying whiting now, but its no good, just falls apart after thawing and not sure about the nutritional value?

I feed market shrimp raw not the cooked seems to work really well have also fed chicken liver can cloud your water tho have to rinse it really well

Raw talapia, I get the frozen stuff. I also use vitachem added to it to help them get all their vitamins and prevent HITH. Plenty of people including me will argue on the nutritional value, it has lots of protien and other good stuff, my pbass didn't get big because it had no nutrition, that's the real proof.

I live im maine on the coast and Haddock and pollock are cheap I feed it to my catfish and my oscars. But i also feed them alge wafers and large krill and shrimp. along with random meatfrom table scraps.

Ive been feeding mine shrimp, tilapia, and bay scallops with pellets stuffed inside
