what media for my w/d?

On top I use polyester quilt batting for mechanical filtration, and bio media is a mix of bioballs, lava rock, and pot scrubbers.

i usually go - blue filter pad,polypad, activated carbon/phos remover mix

I cant tell you whats best to use, I dont have a clue.

I can only tell you that I use a stack of 6 floor buffing pads on top of several gal of pot scrubbers and it works like a charm...

then rediverted to a 30' tall bowtower and a pool filter which is then distilled and ro/di'ed
which then is followed by a freshwater protein skimmer and a few hundred denitrators and rediverted to a bio tray which is a 20x10' fed by 50 pvc water spinners the water trickles through a 4' deep layer and then repumped to ur sump or u could just

use scourers and bioballz simpole and easy
