Hi this is my first post on this site soooo HI EVRYONE!!! 
about one week ago my mom came running in to my room where I was still sleeping. she than plopped a large turtle down on my pillow next to my face. because I was still half asleep my first thought was "get that salmonella filled animal off of my pillow". However, tem minutes later I was excitedly running around the house setting up my moms jocose bath which she never uses into a turtle pond.
I looked him up and it turns out he is a fully gone western panted pond turtle. mom found him on the dog bed in the garage. I observed he had faint tooth marks on the shell so I think the dogs found him thinking he was a toy and brought him home. he was completely un harmed and really healthy and energetic. my next goal is to convince mom to turn her bath into an indoor pond
