i would like to know what type of fish you have found in the feeder fish tanks and where you got them. it would be awesome if you could show me the pictures of them
When I worked at the LFS, we used to get darters with the feeders often. Crayfish every once in a while. Once there was a tadpole and another time we got a bluegill in with them.
Gambusia affins, tons of Crays but i havent bought any yet. Gambusia holbrooki. Blue Channel Catfish, although he may have been on clean-up crew (he was about 5'' and a few months earlier there were 2 Sun Catfish in there.)
I found this guy a few weeks ago at an LFS I dont go to very often in the Ghost shrimp tank. It looks like a swamp darter. Sorry the pic is so bad but its a cell phone pic.
Rosy red/fathead minnows are called "feeder minnows" in almost every pet store or fish store. They are natives too! I would have got some for my coldwater tank if the feeder tank wasn't full of dead ones. They have a breeding tank right below the feeder tank for them i n my LFS.
