What next for my 40b

5 years ago I set up a 40b with pseudotrpheus saulosi and I’m down to the last one so I’m starting to think about what I should do with it. I have a hitech planted 36 bowfront and a 240g with cichlids, sd, cl, and datnoids. Part of me wouldn’t mind making the 40b my hitech planted, would just need to make a more aesthetically pleasing stand but I’m worried my light is too strong for that short of tank. I’m not against shell dwellers and don’t want a typical community tank as the 36 already scratches that itch.

What would some oddball options?
