What next?

Hi, I need some extra filtration ideas please.

I have a 7x2.5x2 (240g) aquarium containing messy Cichla and a Ray.
Currently I have 2 FX5s filled with Mech and 2 1800l/ph powerheads for circulation.
Due to the huge amounts of waste these fishes produce i want to add another filter.

Another FX5 maybe? filled with? or an Eihem? or....?

Give me some help guys! (I cant have a sump at this time)

I would say 2 FX5s should be more then enough.I would get some powerheads for circulation.

I know you said you had two powerheads but how about adding a Eheim 2252 internal, great powerful 1200 l/h only 28w drain on the electric aswell. I run two and pack them with polyfilter, do a great job

Still toying on the idea of another canister though the more mech/bio the better

You can never have enough, if your going for another cannister chuck on a 2260 think if I'm right it's 18l of media space, I have three and wouldn't swap them for any other filter , kept my bass and rays water top draw
