We all like different things. Some people like to keep Cichla, some bichirs, some all catfish, and others dozens of mixed fish in huge tank.
I think I would fall into the category of liking species tanks. Just all of the same fish. I ahve a 125 with two gars and well, IDK it just isn't doing it for me. My smaller 29 gallon interests me more than the 125, lol. So I'm thinking of making it a senegal tank, like 10-15 albino and normal variant senegals bichirs. With half of it planted densely with smaller and larger silk plants, my senegal in my 29 loves this side of the tank and then the other side is pretty much bare so he can still "stretch his fins".
So for me I like and want to have a species tank.
What niche does the rest of MFK fall in and why? Do you like, keeping al aro's, loaches, mixed tanks. Have at it!
