What Oscar to go with my Lutino Oscar?

Hey..
My lutino is like 3.5" I'd like to get another Oscar just so I have double the fun.. I'm looking for the boldest Oscar so I'm thinking a Red Oscar.. how red are these compared to the regular tiger oscar? The one on the hikari gold package is stunning!
So if I'm looking for the best one with pop Red or Tiger?

Yeah I like the patterns too but I think that red would look sweet in a more open no stripes (I've never seen a red in person ) purely speaking vibrant wise vs the 2

Reds are nice, here is a pic of one I had.


It was super aggressive so I was unable to keep it with my 12" tiger oscar in a 125g tank.

Out of keeping Albino Reds, Reds, Tigers, Ablino Tigers, Long Finned, and Sun Shines.

Gotta say my red was my favorite R.I.P. he was my favorite fish for years, before he died of old age.

IMO I would go with a WC specimen. Every body has domestic O's.

I agree. WC Oscars have a better appearance to me and they are not nearly as common. The best Oscars that I have seen have all been WC.

Lutino is a "Albino" oscar.. just the better make for them sense they dont have red eyes or all white they have orange stripes and eyes..

I think I will go with a red one, although I've never seen an adult one in person I think it would look nice!
