Anyways i got rid of my 3 and half inch dovi because the how do i say this, the waste that was coming out of him was huge??? i meen he was only 3 and a half inches, it was bigger than my 5 inch roms, and alot more than my 5 inch roms......... anyways is there any other cichlids out there, that dont produce as big of a biological load??? or as much waste???? o yeh and the fact that i would have to have a 240 gallon tank was to much........ is there any other cichlids out there that are better suited for my taste ????? what about the blue speckled monster??? i was thinking more along the lines of a red devil????

How about Paratilapia polleni? Won't outgrow most tanks, looks great, not a major dumper, and has just enough tenacity to make them interesting without killing the rest of the tank off.

well right now i have a 125 gallon, but i was wanting an aggresive finger chaser, and i thought wow cool, ill get a dovi there the meanest, but after keeping it for about 3 weeks, and finding out how big they get and how big of a tank u will need, i was thinking dang, maybe i need to trysomething else........
Ive kept Piranhas for ove seven years and normaly you cant see thier waste. All cichilds crap like theres no tomorrow. If your going to keep them you have alot of tank vaccuming ahead. No way around it.
