Hey guys, I have a 25 gallon tank. Inside I have a tiger fish ( datnoid ) and 3 tiger barbs. The shop owner that I bougt the tiger fish from suggested that I put black water. And so I am wondering what other fishes can I keep with this set up

that datnoid is going to get WAAAAAAAAY too big for a 25 gallon, you're gonna need to look in to upgrading ASAP
At the moment my tiger fish is aout 1.5 inches and I read that they are actually quite slow growers?
yes i would suggest upgrading ASAP and moving your dat to a very large tank.
then you could buy 5 or 6 more tiger barbs and they would look very nice in your 25 as a school.

Yes, they are slow growers, but any fish that can get big when placed in a small tank always runs the risk of stunting.
You could upgrade for the dat and have a nice community of barbs in the 25.
