EXCLUDING Senegal bichirs. What percentage of say Ornates and Delhezi's are wild caught ? Are they hard to breed?:) Thanks guys just curious.

Thanks man. I just remember hearing most were wild caught it seems odd considering my Ornate and Delhezi will hand feed at the surface :)

Most of the ones you see in LFS are CB, if you're specifically talking about ornate and delhezi.

All of my 8 delhezi are WC. I specifically bought them because I don't like what captive breeding does to the farmies. Their body shape and pattern gets tweaked and looks bad to me, not what a 'true' delhezi should look like.

I see. Ill have to ask the store. The place I get them from has a huge family multiple breeding pond setup in south america for their discus and flowerhorn. They know where their fish come from ill just ask them. Thanks guys.

Where do you guys buy the WC Delhezi's? I been looking for one.
JoJo's aquarium in Sacramento. Very classy place. Each tank is on its own filtration system. No cross contamination including with nets. Fish are always healthy and exhibit great colors. And for the Discus guys this place is a must go! Also Exotic Aquariums nearby JoJo's has the best selection of fish in all sizes and types.

Rehoboth Aquatics and Rare Fish (can be found in our vendor forums), but they're not always in stock.

Is that where you got yours? I love the lines and bold colors on your bichirs A LOT. :headbang2
