I heard from a LFS that they said 5.5 ph is good for enhancing the PB colors.

how true is this ?
wouldnt it be a bit low ?

what is everyone ph set at ?

Changing your PH is asking for trouble your much better off just keeping it stable at what it is.

I have a ph of 7.2 and have never had an issues with dull P-bass. I think diet can be more of a factor than ph.

But I have also seen some amazing looking kels in a blackwater system so maybe someone else will chime in with a better answer for you.

i also believe in diet..depending on which you feed your pbass..ph levels like johno27 said leave it as is..

I would advise not trying to change PH. This can cause swings that are very stressful for your fish.

eh my ph meter is telling me it 5.6 ph LOL..... i guess mine isnt properly grown yet .. it only 3rd month from about 2" when ig ot it .. almost 5-6" now ... will have to wait and see then :) thanks
