It seems no pikes have common names, and there are a lot of varieties. I'm sure you guys get these questions all the time, but please please please could you tell me if you think there is a pike that would fit into a 55 with a green terror for a year or so? If it's out of the question, let me know. Thanks in advance! :)

Seriously if it won't work just tell me ;)

Sveni, all dwarfs (maybe not with the gt though) uh....A lot of pikes will work out for a year. Stay away from Cobra, and Venezuala.....Other than that one year you could get a Xingu-I, Marmorata, Saxtilis...The list goes on....Good luck.

I know there are a lot of dwarf species that would fit. I don't know anything about compatibility though.

Yeah, get a bellycrawler. Itll do great.....

Go for the Saxatilis group pikes, they stay 'smaller' (12" and below) and are more colorful, plus have great personalities, easily obtainable, and reasonably cheap. Common ones are Crenicichla sveni, Crenicichla lucius, Crenicichla proteus, and Crenicichla alta to name a few...;).
