Im trying to find another pleco for my 125Gal. Its only got a 4" royal pleco L190 in it with some corys and others, now the only reason im hesitant is in reading they say they tend not to get along with others of the same species and i have seen him chase a cory or two but not very often and hes fed very well (wife gets upset when all the veggies in the crisper dissapear) And theres 4 peices of malaysian wood in the tank and 1 peice of mopani, lots of hiding and plastic plants (i have silver dollars) but the other thing is it needs to be either tough or get a good size as a black ghost knife is on the list for one of the next tankmates. Any one have multiple plecos with there royal? How do they get along if so?

I have a gold nugget and two long finned albino bn in with my royal in a 100g. They all get on just fine. Keep in mind that this could change. Personalities vary and as they grow things can change. I am hoping for the long haul. I have a big piece of driftwood that the royal never leaves, the golden cruises a lot as do the lf bns.

My 5"royal gets punked by my 3.5" common. I also have a 2.5" chocolate and a little 2" black with white spots in a 100g and all is fine so far, the common chases the royal sometimes though.

Bristlenoses
Whiptails
Smaller panaques - Such as L104, L002

I have the above in a 5x2x2 with 2 royals and they all seem to be fine. The only small issue is the aggression between the larger and smaller royal.

They don't really fight often, i have seen them many times eating around the same area without any issues.

I have 4" royal pleco, a 5" bristlenose pleco, a 5" pleco w/ spikes (not sure what kind he is) and a 9" Black ghost knife in my 125 gallon - 6 pieces of driftwood and its a planted co2 tank. They get along just fine - every once in awhile they will have a little spiff over a hiding place, but its over quick and I rarley see any battle wounds on any of them.
