I'm just curious...kind of taking this from another thread. I rarely see anything too exciting. I know if they were more common, they wouldn't be as exciting to find, but it would be nice to see some different faces around.
I've been at my job for a year...I order fish, browse the wholesale lists every week. The only plecos that are "common" here are commons, gibbiceps, clowns, ancistrus, rubberlips, gold nuggets, and royals. Occasionally I see adonis, some sort of banded pleco, "false zebras", mangos, blue phantoms...that's about it. Have you guys spotted anything interesting recently?

they also carry rubberlips, BNP, and a couple albino "common" varieties. some of the real lfs occasionally get some fancy ones like green and blue phantoms, orange seams, clowns, some royal species, peppermint (which are usually labeled as white or gold spot plecos) and the large L-095 i spotted recently (see other thread).
